reception: The Lighthouse
Little things make me happy. Things like watching a guy get a haircut right before the wedding, which, surprisingly, isn’t something I’ve seen before. I love routines and rituals – the things that give life its rhythm, and I also love the the idea of an element of the everyday working its way into the big day. There’s something about finding that type of reality in that context that grounds it and reminds us that a wedding is part of something bigger. And you could see that when you watched Ruth and Craig smiling, spending time with guests, and just enjoying their time together. It was exactly what a wedding should be.

reception: Battery Gardens
Sometimes, someone will till you something like “Do what you want to do. We trust you.” And that just makes your day. Nothing feels better then going in and knowing that you can go in without constraint and do your absolute best for a couple. And that was really the type of day I had. At 12 hours it will clock is as one of the longer days this year, but you’d never have known it. It flew by in the blink of an eye, and I enjoyed watching Maria and Louis every second of it.
thank you for making my son and daughter in laws day so wonderful
