In an age of Instagram, where the next look is as close around the bend as the next iPhone app, this is a wedding that deserves to stand out. No film look. No color. No tint. Not pictures about show. Not about technique. It is about nothing but Jennifer and Brian’s unmitigated joy. What could be better than pure black and white in its full tonal goodness for something so simple in its clarity?

Taking portraits of Corey and Paul was like going on autopilot. There was so much connection between them. I don’t know if they spent more than a second apart from the time they first saw each other. In perfect weather, in the middle of Central Park, with the sun setting and the sounds of the City in the air, what could be better?

Right before posting this, Margeritte just shared a picture of Katya, my wife and one of the photographers at the studio with me. How sweet is that? I was touched. That’s exactly what I mean when I say that I have awesome clients. And I think it shows. How can you not love their energy and verve?
